I am interested in collaborating with other producers to create stories that enable the audience to escape into another world. In my film The Light in the Shadows it is 1948, a famous actress Joan Desmond and detective Chandler Harrison are suspiciously killed. A mysterious box is stolen from a wealthy Austrian Archeologist Uli Erlkoening, and he hires the detective's wife Jane Harrison to find it, under the guise that the mysterious box had something to do with her husband's death. Jane investigates Uli's story and uncovers the shadowy origin of betrayal linked with the box and the truth about the famous actress and her husband's death. Through Jane's journey, she uncovers the light of truth hidden in the shadows of betrayal. The film is the first 1940's noir where we have a female character who is the protagonist. I have another idea for a sequel to this project am interested in producing more films that challenge roles and create deeper meaning. At its heart the film enables the spectator to question what sacrifices would you make for the one you love. Any feedback or advice on this is appreciated.
