I think that I'm coming to realize my purpose, which is to "get stuff done" (as opposed to Allison's which is to "make stuff" and "appreciate stuff". I'm always attaching myself to what I do best, which is software engineer work. But, I realized that I'm not going to be doing that for the rest of my life. I'm going to be a CEO, with people to manage. So I think that ultimately, my purpose is to do just that. "get stuff done". YAY! I really appreciate the time and effort y'all put into doing that for us. I'm happy to hear you found a charity to support that sounds like it mirrors so much of what your heart reflects. As for purpose, I believe it, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone asks, at somepoint in their lives (probably more than once), what their purpose is in life. Lord knows there are a litney of sources one can read up on to find an answer to that question. However, I believe the answer is as simple as it is profound, our purpose is to be that which we are. We all get caught up in worrying about tomorrow, and the next day, and everything going on around us that I think we forget to enjoy the now - and when you get down to it we live in the now. This eludes back to my definiton of purpose, for even as I am that I am, so to I must remember to enjoy the moment - for each moment is precious and to be treasured. All the best to you.
