Find a beautiful leaf and photograph someone you love holding it…

My favorite season of the year is coming to a close, and I’m collecting as many of the precious leaves that have fallen as I possibly can. I’m always overwhelmed by the natural beauty that surrounds us, and I think that the unbelievable fire that radiates out of the fall leaves is astounding! So, let’s not let them disappear without taking the time to appreciate and document them. Find a leaf you think is awesome and combine it with a person you love!

    FALLING LEAVES

    YESTERDAY I WOKE UP AND LOOKED TROUGH THE WINDOW…I NEVER SEEN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN
    MORNING…I WALKED TO STAY CLOSER THE WINDOW AND I COULD SEE THE MOST WONDERFUL SUN…I FELT IN LOVE
    FOR EVERY STEP OF MORNING,EVERY BIRD SONG AND I GOT OUT TO LOOK BETTER THE MORNING AND I SAW SOME LEAVES
    ON THE FLOOR,AND I COULD PERCEIVE MANY IMPORTANT THINGS IN MY TUMULTUED LIFE, AWILE I WAS STOPPED THERE,SIMPLY LOOKING TO THOSE LEAVES
    FALLED LIKE A CARPET UNDER MY FEET…THOSE LEAVES WAS REPRESENTING THE THINGS THAT I LOST WITH MY OWN PROBLEMS AND OCCUPATIONS,OH MY GOD HOW I COULD BE SO
    SELFISH AND BLIND…I SHOULD’VE LOVED MORE,I SHOULD’VE RISKED MORE,I SHOULD’VE CRIED MORE,I SHOULD’VE BE MORE CLOSER OF POEPLE WHO I LOVE,I SHOULD SAY “ILOVE YOU”
    MORE TIMES…I SHOULD BE MYSELF MORE TIMES AND WHO KNOWS,SMILE MORE TIMES WITH A TRUE REASON TO SMILE… AND FORGET THE WORLD OUT THERE.
    SUDDENLY,I FELT HAPPINESS GROWING UP INSIDE MY HEART AND I STARTED TO LAUGH LIKE A FOOL,LAUGH,LAUGH,AND LAUGH…I FELT LIKE A CHILD
    DISCOVERING THE WORLD AROUND ME,I TOOK THOSE LEAVES AND PLAYED ABOVE ME AND I FELT A WONDERFUL SENSATION,A FREEDOM SENSATION,AND SUDDENLY MY LAUGHINGS WASN’T MORE
    ALONE AND MANY OTHER LAUGHINGS WAS TOGHETHER MINE…THE LEAVES SHOWER WAS MORE STRONG…AND MORE COLORFUL!
    I LOOKED AROUND ME AND MANY OTHER PEOPLE WERE DOING THE SAME,THEY WERE SMILING AND SHOTING SOME LEAVES TOO.AND IN THAT EXACT MOMENT I COULD PERCEIVE AN IMPORTANT THING:SOMETIMES
    WE NEED TO TAKE OFF OUR MAKS AND SIMPLY OPEN OUR EYES FOR THE WONDERFUL MIRACLE OF LIFE,NOW I KNOW THAT I’M DIFFERENT AND MORE SATISFIED WITH WHO I AM AND HAPPY WITH THE PERSON
    WHO I WANNA BE…
    SOMETIMES WE NEED TO WAKE UP AND LOOK THE FALLING LEAVES…

    Allison,
    Wondeful idea, perfect time to come up with it also, because fall is the best season of all.

    So I only had enough battery power in my camera to take one picture so I got all ready I was outside all bundled up in my winter cloths found the perfect leaf, got my new puppy( someone I love ) to take the picture with me and he farted right when I pressed the button and my face looked horrible..becasue well the fart was horrible haha. So once I get some batteries ill attempt to try it again.

    Also just wanted to put the word out about DEFENDERS OF WILDLIFE. (http://www.defenders.org/index.php). they do great work, and their always looking for donations to save these poor creatures from extinction.

    While you are enjoying your autumn, which, by now, would be winter, we here in Australia are warming up for a scorching summer!! So while you have lovely Autumn leaves to look at..we will have summer leaves! I’ll have to try and find a good one for you!

    so all joking aside, fall is a seriously gorgeous season…
    The colors, the neutrally comfortable temperature, the general ease in pace, and above all the autumn sunsets that seem to just blend into an endless yellow/red firesplash… Farbeit from me to call fall a downer amidst all it’s beauty, but alas; my quarrel is this:

    Being Canadian has stripped my childhood love for the snow, and replaced it with a general distain for the bitter cold..since then, it hasn’t exactly been the Rosencrantz to my Guildenstern…
    ..Then again, I bet I’m just saying this because we just played the role of God’s snowdump depot.. (we just got three solid days of snow here in Toronto)
    But I will say this… Fall and winter do certainly make for some fantastic photography…. And even better when they contain a leaf, a sunset, and Allison Mack… and then there’s the ultimate combination of all those elements into one photo…
    I heard there was one of those somewhere around here… :p

    OOOOOO man this is cooooool beanz! Last month when I was walking home with one of my friends and I saw all these amazing looking leaves that looked like they were painted! I couldn’t help myself and just started collecting all different kinds because I wanted to copy thier design onto paper. The friend I was with at the time has never understood my artistic point of view. There were people around so she kept walking and tried to pretend she didn’t know me. Haha, I didn’t actually do anything with the leaves because they shriveled up really fast. Oh well, there’s plenty where that came from, right?
