MMM Chocolate Chip Cookies…

Hey guys!

I heard some of you Internet geniuses found a little Alice & Huck blip online, on our editor’s website…

No! It’s not done yet!!!! We still have the whole process of sound design before we can let anyone see it. It’s like eating the cookie dough before the cookies are baked– or worse eating the pasta without the sauce! It’s just not right!

Don’t worry, when it is done I will show you all, I promise! Thank you for your amazing interest and support!

I’ll keep you all posted with the progress of the film as it happens!

    Cookie dough — bad example. Just don’t over cook the Alice and Huck cookies or let them dry out too long before you serve them!

    And what do you have against pasta? Are you Anti-pasta?

    I am reallllly hungry now! It’s a good thing I have some cookie dough in the freezer! (And I just heard the ice cream truck go by…which makes me even more hungry. Maybe I’ll have cookie dough ICE CREAM….) :D

    Anyways, I’m so psyched about Alice and Huck! Can’t wait for it!

    Hello Allison!

    Though I’m not an internet genius…:) so I didn’t know much about the progress of making Alice & Huck… and I’m pleasantly surprised now to hear that the film is almost done! Can’t wait for watching it… I’m anticipating that it will be much more delicious than chocolate cookies! :)

    Happy me, I don’t feel hungry coz I feel really sleepy:) The difference of time zones is the very interesting thing – it’s the middle of the day in Vancouver and almost 2 a.m. in my hometown in Russia and all is at the same moment…:)

    So I just want to wish you (and all other people who’re reading it) to have a really bright and pleasant day-off ;)

    p.s. I’m joining to Emily: you’re doing great on Smallville!!! Every time I’m watching Chloe and Clark episode I’m wondering whether friendship like that exists in real world… your Chloe is so adorable!

    OK, this is sooo off subject, but I wanted to share because you have really been a huge inspiration in my self-awareness journey.

    Proactive. An Acne Cleanser? Or a Way of Life!

    So, in an effort to jibe with some other smart person’s thoughts, I have decided that I will dedicate this blog of life lessons and assesments to none other than Habit Number One in Stephen Covey’s list of 7. BEING PROACTIVE. Covey says “Self-awareness enables us to stand apart and examine even the way we “see” ourselves-our self-paradigm, the most fundamental paradigm of effectiveness.” In the past few days I have been doing a great deal of examining myself to try to become a bit more self-aware. I certainly have felt that there was a need for a paradigm shift in my life for a long while. I have lived so much of my life trying to match up with some ideal that a girl not even much like me invented in her imagination years ago. I have grown and changed so much as a person since the days that I sat and contrived what I believed to be the way a successful young woman should look. So it is about time that I stop following this old and stunted world view, and embark on a journey into a new frontier including the “me” that I have become and am becoming. In an effort to be more of the person that I want to be now, I have been letting go of some weighted inhibitions that I have held for an eternity and thus, I have started to live a little. Or, honestly, I have started to live a lot. I have no longer been sitting around longing for the perfect circumstance to get up and out and doing the things that make me feel alive. Some people call me stupid for going hiking alone in the wake of the news concerning the girl who was killed under similar conditions. But here is the deal people, I felt so alive and it was so amazing to just go. To be. To live! I have also chosen to let go of other things in my life that have served only to stifle the inner essence of who I am. I will be me. I will enjoy others. I will live like I want to live. I will not be a bystander in my own freaking life. I will leave you with the words of another individual who’s thoughts far surpass my own.

    That’s incredible, Krystal. Here I thought Proactive was just benzoyl peroxide, but apparently it also has debilitating psychotropic effects.

    Hey Allison! I’ve watched your Ask Allison vids and I have to say I think it’s so cool that you are so into the arts. I’m an art history major in Montreal and its hard when everyone says “why are you studying art history?” and I guess it’s just cool to see someone I look up to mention it and fine arts as a career (when you were asked what would you do if you weren’t an actor). Sometimes people just don’t get that some people want to do what they love and not what gets them the most money.

    I’m not going to lie… I try to see how far I can take things on the internet before I get caught.
    my latest dumbed down discovery was the fact that we could sign up and change wiki pages…
    and lemme see…
    ‘evil’ bored teenager + changeable wiki site…
    the results don’t look too good.
    its people like us that make the internet such a fake but interesting place.
    atleast i admit to it though…
    although if i were going to pull a blip off of the editors page i would have been very greedy and watched it for myself and shared with no one, but thats just me :D
    I have to also admit that although i love technology… and im great with computers and all that jazz, (i can’t do everything… but im sure i can hack into simple programs and websites although i really dont believe in that stuff, unless its open to public use, which brings me back to wiki = public use) it makes me mad that my computer hooked up to the internet is ‘smarter than me’.
    now why can’t i be a super sponge and contain all that knowledge?
    it would sure be a gift to have a brain like a hard drive.
    and trust me… I have a need to learn.
    if i see someone do something that I can’t, I want to explore it and find out how i can do it.

    okay i don’t think this post really tied up to relate back to your post, but it sure makes sense to me :D
