Hey Allison & team, I was gone all weekend to my aunt's and uncle's so I'm a little behind on the posting. The internet "wasn't" working, in other words an excuse for me not to go on. Ah well. I support you to keep "making art, telling jokes, drinking wine, and sharing stories," 100%. Life is beautiful and it is sad that people don't appreciate it or don't recognize it for what it is. Since I've been visiting this site, my life has definetly become more appreciative and explorative while having read these wonderful posts that you wrote and shared with us, Allison. Thank You! Much love and support, Brittany.

Wow, I'm gone a few days and bam, lots of posts to respond to...well this is my take on the "life is beautiful".....because of my belief system, I truly think that what God created and what He intended for us is truly beautiful. Sin, on the other hand is not beautiful. And my understanding of sin is this: anything that violates the love principle because God is love. So many people hate the sin concept because they think that people who talk about it are pointing the finger. I simple see it as not walking in love. Love is patient, kind, etc.....
anyway....and I'm not all for being "nice" so many people think that niceness is equated with being a loving person...sometimes love can be tough!

For those of you who say that life is not always beautiful, I have this to say: Life is ALWAYS beautiful.....it may be hard and it may not always be fun, but we are but specs in the vast unending ocean of the universe.....we have been blessed with the gift of life that seems to have happened no where else but here, and one day it will all come to a screeching halt.....so respect life for what it is, amazing and BEAUTIFUL!!!

oohhh adrian! I LOVE THIS:

“Life is beautiful and for those that –refuse– to recognize this, I am sad.”
I think, instead of refuse, the words I should use are “for those that never see this, I’m sad”

its not that we want to refuse or not see it,
we may be oblivious and never get the chance
and whos fault was that? if we never had the awareness of the beauty?

-Excuse my english-
I come here almost everyday to read your opinions but sometimes the threads are very "deep" and my poor english is a limit for express my ideas. But today..

“Life is beautiful and for those that --refuse-- to recognize this, I am sad.”
I think, instead of refuse, the words I should use are “for those that never see this, I'm sad”

Like Kamil Karaszewski (#49) said, some people haven't the chance of know it, I'm sure everybody here is thinking on start new proyect, maybe write a book (me!), get marry, learn piano; but some poor people who is lucky if they get something to eat today, they (maybe) don't think the same.

A hour ago finished a UNICEF's TV program called “Un sol para los chicos” (“A sun for the children”). It's made yearly, and the target is get donations from people and corporations for help children on Argentina.
In a moment of the night there was a report of a woman who record on video some children of poor zones of my country, the question were “What is your dream?”. You can see on all children that eyes of happiness and hope. Doesn't matter if they had nothing, they wanted to be a doctor, a soccer player, an actress... but, when they grow up and start to know the life they have, where the dreams and projects are very hard to reach, even if they fight; they will start to lose that hope, and they are going to think about the “beautiful life” is for fairy tales.

Maybe the life is like a ball inside a box. When you open it, you can get a leather ball, a plastic one... of course you can try to customize it and make it better. The problem is when you open the box and see the ball broken, Can you fix it?

I had the opportunity earlier today, to interview the talented actor Yuri Lowenthal. From self expression, to his early years as an individual seeking out the world's treasures. It is something I take great joy, in finally chatting with the novel fellow.

At the moment, one of my friends from our podcast is editing the interview. And it should be up soon for everyone to listen to.

Have a good weekend everyone. =D
