Hey Allison, I heard you were directing an episode of Smallville this season. Can't wait for it to air. By the way, loving the direction your character is taking this season. Keep up the great work.

It finally came to me the other day. I have a movie that someone will make someday (because the idea is so obvious that someone else will stumble on it or one of the people I've told about it will do something with it long after I'm gone) ... and I always thought that there was no good role in it for Allison .. because the lead role needs to be a man for various reasons and there can't really be a love interest. But there was one role I never really thought of for Allison that is probably the one with the most air time other than the lead -- it is a demon that encourages the main character to keep up the 'good' work. She wants to do a darker role ... and this is kind of interesting because it marries the 'muse' aspects of Allison with a darker purpose. Like the evil Jiminy Cricket we discussed in an earlier blog. Maybe just the thought of her in the story will get me in the frame of mind to write the treatment for the film. Who knows ...?

It's a few days until Halloween. What's everyone dressing up as this year? I think I'm going to make a Taylor Nikole costume. I'd better go now and start practicing speed typing on a phone!

When I left school to go to university about 8 years ago the whiteboards were outnumbering the blackboards, but from what I understand even the whiteboards are now becoming obsolete. They're replacing them in the UK with 'interactive whiteboards' which is basically a laptop attached to a projector.

My mum's a teacher and her school got in a load of laptops for use in the classroom but told the teachers they had to take them all home at night because the school didn't want the pay the insurance premium! I think my antique laptop is one of those old ones and still has some of the interactive whiteboard programs on it.

There definately is a reason why it is fair that I get to count all the posts made on this blog this year. At least I don't have to stand at a chalkboard and do it.

"David ... write "I believe ... I am believing ... I believed ... I have believed ... He believed ... She believed ... We ALL believed" 3000 times on the blackboard."

"Yes, Teacher"

Do schools even have blackboards anymore? Or is it all dry erase now? Jennygirl, I throw that question to you.

Is the expression "Chalk one up for ..." obsolete? "Dry erase one up for the Gipper!"

It's been another one of those days, folks.

That would make a beautiful dream sequence. You could use all kinds of movement to flow shapes and designs.
