new computor,
the old ones shot, why not buy a new one, they are cheaper than trying to get a old desk top fixed.besides they can sell them new at office depot, best buy or staples for a good price,i'm using a toshiba laptop now and compared to my old sony desk top what a difference window 7 makes.now if i can figuire out how this skipe setting works.good luck with a new one, don't buy on impulse like i have in the past, research for a lap top with an operating system plus the memory and hard drive space such as a toshiba with a 4g memory and 500gb hard drive,it will save a lot of fustration in the long run as more programs are added.the more programs added the slower it can run.also look at the proccesor type,i under stand dual core dual is best.good luck

Things just happen I guess..
Got a lot of stuff broken in a little more then 24 hours....
Harddrives, XBOX, cellphone, Earphones...
What's important is to move on....
(more importantly being able to replace that stuff...)

Hey Allison. Things happen for a reason, like you said, maybe that milk did know you wanted & needed a new computer! Have fun with your new MacBook. I want a Mac so bad. My computer is on the verge of dying, literally.
Brittany XOXOXOXO

Your new computer sounds fabulous, but I think you need to give yourself a break about reconnecting. You've had a stressful season playing a much darker Chloe so it makes sense for you to need to just chill out for a bit.

David,

It seems to me that it takes a real knack for the regular tablets as there is a difference in projecting onto the screen when there is no feedback on the actual drawing surface. Wacom has those new touch screen moniters to try and get around that. I don't know, but there should be a drawing tablet like that Etch-A-Sketch you nmentioned where at least the artist would have a direct feedback on the actual drawing surface as well as on the monitor.

Jade Ruby,

I used to have a love affair with the Niji Stylus. It had a beautiful fine line and I used to sketch tiny illustrations with them without worrying about the pen bleeding. They also didn't run out after a few lines. But today, I have trouble finding a good pen but I make anything available work for me. I actually prefer a good soft lead drawing pencil if I need to sketch a shaded image. I got a WACOM tablet with pen to try to get into the 21st century, but I haven't developed the knack for using it yet.

David Hayes,

I don't know about job fair recruiters, but it would seem to me that a person in your shoes would already be an aficionado of the pen market. I know for me, I like getting different writing implements, and they don't have to be expensive to be cool. Right now I'm into multi-function pens, and of course I have Bics, both medium and fine points. But when I saw the Staples "Quatrex" I *HAD* to have one! Heh. The Quatrex has black, blue, and red inks with a 7mm pencil. It also has an optional stylus that you can replace one of the standard points with. Jeeze, I love my Quatrex with it's sleek brushed aluminum finish, and dappled comfort grip that let's the sheen of the metal show through all the way to the tip, rather than covering the entire grip in plastic. What a great pen for all occasions, from note taking to slashing budgets, and ready to switch from paper to PDA. +ahem+

I hope you enjoy your new computer Allison.
