blue in prague

It is a beautiful, but blue day today in Prague. The show is challenging. Learning how to let go is one of the most exhilarating, yet frightening and challenging things I have ever done in my life. I feel like I am teaching myself to be a silly kid again… be free in myself to explore and go for the unsafe, unpredictable and wild self that is me. I have been dormant in this other, more serious and controlled person for a very long time now. The breaking out process is wild and scary and painful and wonderful and all that.

    Hi Allison,

    The weather’s quite changeable in Europe, isn’t it? Be this as it may, I don’t think you teach yourself to become a silly kid again. Don’t you know… kids have a lot more abilities than adults, but lose those while they’re growing up. So actually you’ve been teaching yourself to become sort of more skilled. I think that’s great.

    That was a cool vid Allison.
    I think I’ve seen something similar before on Will and Grace having to do with using dance to clean up the kitchen, except she falls and breaks the plate instead.

    That video was beautiful and original. Can’t wait to see and hear more.

    The creation requires a lot of emotions. We must put aside our rational side and dive into the unknown.
    You could just tell the problems faced by 9 people trying to tell a story.
    This is a story within a story.
    The same story that takes 9 different directions but eventually
    in the same way. What is important is not the destination but the journey.
    We often have to leave our comfort zone to do great things.
    We must use our emotions returned to move forward.

    Art has always come natural to me, so it’s always been my passion.

    When I went to Art School I learned that Art is a very disciplined Skill. It devastated me… it burst my bubble of this romanitic illusion of what I thought Art was…

    I ended up dropping out- I needed time to re-evaluate my dream.

    When I met my guy friend that I mentioned in a previous response to you, he helped me realize that our gift was beautiful, but we have to learn to harness our gift and turn into a skill.

    He also taught me about the importance of allowing yourself new experiences as an artist. That is where you accumilate for your internal pallet to draw from. You have to push yourself to always step out of your norm. in order for you to grow and mature in your gift.

    I’m still having trouble to break out of my cacoon to fly alittle.

    Letting go of the more controlled sides of ourselfs can do wonders for the creative parts within us.That little kid we once were just comes back,and we learn to learn again and have fun with what we do,but also to work hard to keep the things that mean the most to us.I love being a kid who hopes and dreams and thinks the best of the world is at our finger tips.I fear when I do actually reach adulthood I will lose so much of what I have now.But it will be okay,I will just have to deal.I am so glad you are enjoying yourself with this new project.

    That video was all kinds of awesome!It’s so cute how they incorporated dance into just normal everyday tasks,I absolutely love that.Your group company website is just spectacular,it’s cool how everyone’s challenges tie into each other’s.I really liked the audio clip of the song you put together with the words you were given.It was sung really slow,and it sounded incredible.Keep up with cool stuff like that,I would love to hear more of your voice talents.It is very rare and when it comes up I am just stumped,cause you have so many skills.I really appreciate you sharing little things like that with us,somehow you seem a bit more tangible and real when I see and hear things like that.Actually I feel like that whenever I read your blogs.

    Interesting video, if I can get the newspaper like that no, it probably would look awkward haaa. But I like the way the music matches their dancing technique it’s a great video. Oh Allison I am going to miss three days of your beautiful blog. I have to go to Toronto to visit my family however; I will be back Sunday evening to respond, or Monday. Wow in the background I hear a bass, is that a keyboard effect or something. I will miss you always umm
