So, I was stumbling the other day and came across a site that had a list of words that don't exist in the English language. One word stuck out above the rest.

Meraki (Greek): doing something with soul, creativity, or love.

If you ask me that's a way to live life on a daily basis. Thought you would like it :)

This is my first time on this website. I am in the process of co-writing, co-producing, co-directing, and possibly acting in an independent film and I was watching an episode of Smallville and said to my boyfriend, "It’s too bad we aren't friends with Alison Mack she would be perfect for Janine (one of the roles we are trying to cast)." So I started looking at some of your stuff, trying to figure out what qualities you possessed (other than being an incredibly honest and talented actress) that I could compare to actresses in my area to help figure out who might be able to play the role. In my search I stumbled upon this blog.

It is so interesting how universal the human experience is I think that is something we always try to encapsulate with art. The feeling of forgetting why you are doing something or how you got there is always such a horrible lost feeling, but the experience of remembering and figuring it all out again is usually nothing short of an amazing gift. It’s strange how being lost can be such a foundation for creativity, though I suppose that is true of any situation that leads us to learn.

David Hayes Says:
"I find it impossible to come home and organize my receipts. . . because at work, you are someone else."

Routine gets fixed in the mind. If you take the time to remember to check out your thought patterns in different places that you frequent, you'll see that your mind just naturally falls into these separate thinking sequences. Of course attempting to break through thought sclerosis takes practice.

Hi Allison.
Memorization of texts is important and takes time, but the interpretation requires talent and creativity.
The writers create a character but the one who gives life is the actor. The actor must feel deep within himself the soul of the character. He must leave his body to enter in another body.
The actor has come to no longer recognize himself and accept his new image. He had the incredible opportunity to live the life of someone else, a foreigner.
Chloe's success is directly attributable to your interpretation. Anyone can learn the text but it's the verbal and physical interpretation that makes the difference.
The emotional preparation of your new character should be something new as fascinating and terrifying.
I look forward to learning more about this film and your character.
Why we forget the important things in our lives?
This is not a memory problem, but our feelings take control of our lives.
If we learn from our mistakes and those of other our lives would be perfect for the things we control.
The expression "living his life" makes sense.
Our life experience allows us to better know us and know our limits. Our limits should not be a brake to our creativity, but a guide that we will allow us to be more productive.
Life is like shooting a film, can be repeated again and again while this is not completely finished.
Allison you are an expert and thanks to share with us.
I can’t wait to view the behind the scenes calling the shots with Allison Mack!
Good night.

I love how you always seem to see the positive aspect of every situation.Throughout my life I have had teachers who constantly tell me there is a silver lining, that you should continue to look for the bright side cause that will push you to go on.Optimism reveals a person who loves life, pessimism only shows how one doesn't wish to move forward in their journey. It is wonderful you are starting a new film.I am extremely excited about the details and synopis of it,so I am glad you will keep us updated.Though in the midst of all this wonderful projects you have been taking on I hope you are getting some rest.Today was my first day off and done with school.I totally slept in late.I hope you do awesome with your new film.I also hope you enjoy your time with playing a new character. As a huge movie fan I always enjoy seeing actors portray different characters. And I remember you saying that this one was going to be darker. All I can say is YAY!!!Dark characters are the best ones to watch, and I imagine to play as well.So I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with this role.

Another thing I think is amazing is how actors memorize all their lines. That is something I don't think I could ever do.I'm sure you don't ever forget the important things in your life for long.Cause when you talk on your blog to us you always seem to mention the significant things you hold dear whether it is in the artistic side of you or just the human part in general.

I'm glad you had an amazing time in prague.I'm sure your glad to be home though.Oh and I hope your kitty Bosley is doing better.Have a great day Allison.
