I’m new and therefore late to reply. First, do I detect a delicious reference to Anne of Green Gables at the beginning of this blog? If so, you’ve just made my day a bit happier.
Welcome to the new year, and know you’re not alone in wondering how mid-to-late 20s could be adult. Did our grandmothers feel all grown up at our age? Did they have it all “together,” feel confident and beautiful and strong all the time? If so, I want to know how they pulled it off! For now, let’s agree to tell ourselves it’s okay to play and to take our time learning and changing. Maybe we’ll be the better for it when we find ourselves honestly, fully “adult.”

I’m not the type of person who usually shares there life with complete strangers, but today is my birthday and I wanted to let someone know.

I don’t have a family or friends to confide in, what I have in life are my music and a journal. I’m not trying to sound like a sob story its just I believe that birthdays are a big deal and I wanted someone in the universe to know that I made it to twenty two.

If my parents were alive we would be laughing and having a party, things would be different, I would be different.

But anyway hello and happy birthday to the two of us.
