    If you’re falling down the stairs, you can try to protect your head, or your torso, or whatever. But the only way to protect everything is to keep your eyes open so you can see when and where the impact is going to happen, and prevent it.

    Incidently, the world has tipped over the stairs and is going down headfirst . . .

    Pegion closes his eyes on seeing a cat. He thinks if his eyes are close, everything is dark and cat can’t see him. But by this he fools himself only. By closing eyes we may ignore the problem, but we can’t escape it. A wise man always keeps his eyes and ears open…
