anthropologie:

I’ve been spending a lot of time immersed in the blog companion to Pictory Magazine, whose mission is to tell stories through pictures and captions. The result is a beautiful preservation not just of an image, but of a meaningful context, bringing you that much closer to the subject, photographer and experience.
 
Here’s the caption for the photo above:
“My 88-year old father-in-law took himself for his first manicure & pedicure last week. I noticed his hands looked different and can only imagine the faces of the ladies when he walked in. All 6’3” of him. He wears the apron to keep his clothes clean as he’s a widow and laundry is his responsibility, now. From the looks of it, the apron is working.”

        That’s right, and this is not the first time she does this.
        I’m not complaining about this posts, in fact they are great, but… I miss Allison’s posts. (Could be fixed by making a video response… :) )

          At least we can trust that the content is being highlighted by Allison, so she is still sharing how she sees life and The World with us; a refreshing and thought-provoking ‘lens’ as ever.

            Yes, of course, I like the way she thinks – that’s why I started following this web not too long ago, and I still check every week – but I would really like to debate with her.
            Although I do like debating with the people who replies.

    Hey if you wanna know more about anthropology i suggest you read this author Marcel Mauss or Claude Levi-Staruss they were anthropologist from France and the talk about de differences between anthropology and sociology, i suggest to read to Marc Augé he is or was xd a anthropologist to but an urban anthropology, it’s really interesting i’m an anthropologist so follow my suggestions :)
