Allison and this fact but the hardest and the first step even when you’re alone in the world
and enjoy the perspective and what you learn from each step.
I disagree you have to look at the whole staircase (or as
much of it as you can) to get a feeling of the challenge to come, just look at the picture, you cant read the whole thing unless you look at the whole staircase. but you you can look just one time and not for long because the
longer you think about it the longer the staircase will get. Just take it one
step at a time and when you can’t go on any more look back at how far you’ve got
and it will get you moving again, and once you get to the top and look down you
will get a great feeling that’s worth it all, the greater the challenge the
greater the feeling.
Especially when descending, lest a miss-step be cause to fall uncontrollably.
I’m a little late to the party on this one, but I’ve been busy. On September 3rd I moved across the country to follow a dream. A dream, I say, because my success may not be entirely up to me – which to me is the difference between a dream and a goal. I quit my stable job – after having one for 13 years – took out a massive amount of loans and went back to school. I’m still not sure that I won’t fall flat on my face and be in massive debt or maybe I will succeed. I don’t know and I don’t care. This picture made me smile when I saw it that evening. I printed it out and carried it with me on my second day of driving. It is a truth that I need to remind myself of, and thanks to this post now I know that. Thanks Allison for this amazing gift.
This really inspired me to follow my dreams in life. I’ve always been too scared to do this because I’ve been convinced I’ll fail and I’m still not sure I won’t, but I feel so encouraged and inspired to try!
Thank you Allison
