This is an idea I got from my friend Susan’s Blog. I’m telling you mine. Now you tell me yours.

1. Automatic voice operators
2. Packaging for electronics
3. Headphone chords
4. Watermelon Seeds
5. Scotch tape
6. Cow-licks
7. Zits
8. Armpit hair
9. Partner-less socks
10. Missed calls

    And this could be a good day-

    1) Having to go back for your wallet
    2) Logins, passwords, usernames
    3) The other queue moving faster
    4) Being backed into a corner in the lift
    5) Pushing doors that pull
    6) “Please wait system updates being installed”
    7) People eating behind you in cinema
    8) Realising you DO need a basket in the supermarket
    9) Wondering why your keys aren’t where you’re sure you left them
    10) Smurfs

    Things that cause strife:

    1) Bad spelling (Other than by Americans who obviously can’t spell colour or favourite)
    2) People throwing litter on the floor by litter bins
    3) Announcements at train stations that you can’t understand
    4) Automated telephone systems that take you through multiple options then tell you they’re not open and hang up.
    5) Flaky internet connection
    6) My kids saying ‘like’ every third word (Showing my age now)
    7) Packaging on anything that you cannot open without bolt croppers or leaving the packaging in such a way you can’t reseal it (ie. pasta)
    8) Mobile phones ringing at the theatre/cinema (Hanging offence)
    9) Pickled beetroot (It contaminates everything)
    10) Intolerance (Deep I know and I am very intolerant of intolerance)

    5) Feet eager to run to evil
    6) A lying witness that gives false testimony

    Ditto on electronic packaging – don’t even get me started.

    6. Infommercials on TV
    7. Telemarketers
    8.People talking next to me at my local library on their cell phone.
    9.SPAM, on my computer, not the food.
    10.Being late for work , or for an appointment

    3. Drivers who talk/text while driving
    4. People who say “oh, I don’t read, ever.”
    5. Inconsistent highway signs
    6. Iceberg lettuce only salads
    7. People whose sentences rise as though they’re interrogative, even when they are declarative
    8. “To be annoyed, press 1; to get really pissed off, press 2; to get relegated to the 9th Circle of Hell, press 3″
    9. “Like, you know, know what I’m saying?”
    10. “That’s they way we’ve always done things”

    1. Moving
    2. Lost internet connection
    3. That little piece of braid that always comes out
    4. Migraines
    5. Ignorance
    6. Opening packages
    7. When you can’t hear someone you ask them to repeat and they don’t get any louder or they talk lower.
    8. Empty Dorito bags left in the cabinet
    9. People who vehemently tell me reading is stupid and that I should just wait for the movie.
    10. Being out of coffee

    10) That one thing that didn’t make the shopping list.
    9)) Leaving home without deodorant.
    8) Drivers who don’t wave when I let them merge.
    7) Cilantro.
    6) Sushi-craving at 3 am.
    5) Being late for the previews.
    4) The person who made me late for the previews.

    2) Bad tippers.
    1) An inkless pen.

    2) Rude people in general
    3) Automated messaging lines telling you that you are the next caller and you are still on hold for another hour
    4) Going into the store buying everything except for what I originally went into buy
    5) Bad grammar and incorrect spelling (it’s ocd thing for me)
    6) When you are at the park and it clearly says scoop your dog’s poop and some don’t so naturally you step in it (Happened today as a matter of fact)
    7) Loud children in a library or bookstore, I know kids are going to be kids but there is such a thing called and “indoor voice”

    Strife: angry or bitter disagreement over fundamental issues; conflict.

    Bureaucracy.
    Democracy.
    Politics.
    Big government.
    People who can naught argue, so start yelling (Of cause, the loudest must be right).
    People who think; ‘Nigger’ is a racist slur (Nigger: an ignorant person, typically uneducated).
    People who take ever word uttered in hearing distance as a personal affront.
    People who think; ‘gender’, ‘embryo’, and ‘foetus’ refer to people.
    Drivers who don’t stop, even after You rolled of the bonnet.
    People who leave an argument, just as it gets neurologically stimulating.

    THE biggest thing causing strife for me right now combines two of the other things on soe of the lists here: cursive writing & a witness lying in testimony. There’s a legislator in North Carolina wh has been caught out giving false testimony in support of a bill she introduced to mandate cursive handwriting instruction …
