    I think the same can be said of the broken man. Looking down on life as well as himself. When an animal is blinded, they will refuse to move unless forced by some greater motivation be it the physical force of a hand or fear of danger or hunger. Both the proud and the victimized suffer from that same illness in that sense. Neither can look up. Sometimes the two can be so similar one can be mistaken for the other. An idea I thought would be interesting to think about. The kinship between the proud and the wounded. This seems to be a place for thought….I like it. =)
