Freedom is found in a 4×4 ft cell.
No expansion
Definition is inherent.

Freedom is found in a 4×4 ft cell
Deprived of material comforts

Feet held to the flame of nothing but you
and you
and you
and you
Your thoughts run through the likes of you
blood streaming with boiling, bubbling passion

A 27 year Distillation process
Impurities evaporate
You emerge with a reduction of humanity
what is compassion
what is possible
what is true
what is essential

The world aches for heroes like you
Your voice was smooth
the purest form of what is possible when you don’t give up
turn in.

Turns out

Freedom is found in a 4×4 ft cell
Locked in you looked out and discovered a world of beauty and potential.

Thank you, O Mighty leader.
You burn empathy into the heart and soul of 7 billion eyes and ears.

You are not gone.
This is not possible.
You breath through my lungs.
