Wow! I have made it to 30 days straight of blogging. Sad that this is actually the most consistent thing in my life right now.

Oh well. At least I can stick to something. The sun is rising and I need to go to sleep. I will write more tomorrow!

Happy 30 days! Get some sleep. You need it to get your perception back.

Consistent. There’s a word to talk about sometime. A couple blogs back you said you don’t “think”…

Seriously, you’ve shown in this blog that you spend time thinking. If you want to see people who don’t think, go browsing through Twitter-land.

I’m too tired to think myself. G’night.

You put on a play in less than a week. Having blogged daily for the last four years straight, I can assure you that the play is a much bigger accomplishment! 🙂

There’s a great quote by Oscar Wilde about consistency. He says, “Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative.” So according to him, it’s a good thing that you aren’t too consistent.

    Stay imaginative.

Congratulations! I started my blog with the intention of doing what you’re doing…and then I realized that my mind is far too random for such a thing. Regardless, keep blogging and I’ll keep reading =)

Consistency isn’t always a good thing. Consistently late, consistently wrong, consistently annoying, …. And consistency can be boring.

But, I too would like a routine where I somehow knew what the days and weeks ahead would be like. Today, I got a hint of my near future. I found a dog dish and blanket in a 30 foot by 15 foot by 2 foot high crawl space under half of one of my properties about a week ago. Today, a plumber crawled into it to replace the water lines that someone broke in and stripped out of the property a month ago. He told me what I hoped wasn’t true – the dog or dogs that were kept in the crawl space had spent a lot of time there. There is lots and lots of feces in there. The plumber said the smell was unbelievable. Someone has to crawl in there with a Wisk broom and clean it out … then crawl back in and spray the entire space with bleach … and manage not to get asphyxiated in the process. There is a 98% possibility that that someone is … me. The plan was that I write my books and my screenplay and relax in a pool in a redneck community I joined. But poop takes priority. So, I visited another property … and the electricity no longer works there and the kitchen sink supply line leaks and flooded the floor. That was where I was going to sleep tonight. So, plans changed again. I came home … and in the mail, I got another patent … and a letter explaining that I need to drive 35 miles tomorrow to where I used to work to sign it over for $10.00. But I love it because the letter says I have to sign the patent over because I was an employee when I invented the pump that the patent is for. But the main reason for letting me go was to prove to me and others that I was not an employee and never have been one. I also was asked to return to work again today … but they have decided to offer me my old non-job at my old rate rather than insisting on the pay cut they wanted me to take the last time they asked me back. But why return to a paying job when I can be cleaning poop out of a crawl space for free? The only question now is which is second in priority to poop … a paying job or writing … or fixing the leak and restoring electricity. Consistency? I don’t want the poop cleanup to be the routine I settle into. The trick is finding a routine that you love to be consistent with … or loving the diversity and skipping the consistency.

Geez, the sun is greeting you, sounds a lot like me. But then someone has to keep the candles burning or the wax companies would be out of work. Good to follow along with your thoughts. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Allison.
We had the privilege to share with you ideas, thought and feelings.
Sharing feelings is an act of love. Feeling love is always a great source of joy.
It was really nice to see you play with two small children in the videoblog.
They probably do not know Chloe, but they were able to recognize the wonderful and charming person you are.
It is in the darkest nights where the stars shine the most.
Have a good day and follows the light.

30 days that is so awesome!!!I’m glad you have blogged daily straight for so many days.It has been fantastic to hear all your thoughts and opinions on various subjects. And as of lately it has been especially great to hear of your adventures in Prague with your theater company. Thanks so much for reaching out to us fans and talking and interacting with us on a more personal level. It has been a wonderful exchange between us and other fans who share my admiration in an amazing actor and wonderful human being. The best part has been discovering how much of a great person you truly are.Sometimes it is easy to mix up an actor with the character they play when you don’t know much of the actor themselves.Allison I’m sure you will find consistency in something else you do,don’t ever doubt your capabilities. There have been many times you have surprised a lot of fans with your skills. So I know that you can accomplish this task of keeping to something.I have a lot of faith in you.Rest well tonight I look forward to tommorow’s blog.

Thank you for sharing so many of your thoughts and ideas Allison.

It’s really amazing discussing so many various topics with people based all over the World with our “captain Mack” sparking the debate.

Good luck with the remaining performances of “Crossed Wires” and good luck with the film project next month.

The night is always the darkest before the new dawn.

    Keep well Allison.

    Hi Allison,

Don’t be sad that blogging is your most consistent thing in your life. We usually start from a scratch, right? Little by little you’ll have more and more consistent things in your life… if you want to. You’ll see. 🙂

    take care,

    You go girl!
Thanks so much for the last thirty days.
You always manage to keep your blog interesting and I always look forward to reading it and hearing about your day.
You have accomplished so many amazing things. Last year I was part of a show made over a period of two weeks and it went for half an hour and that wasn’t easy, so the fact that you were able to produce one in half the time speaks volumes.
You are so good at what you do.
Sleep well, Allison. You deserve a good rest. Good luck with the rest of the shows.
    Keep smiling!

It shouldn’t be sad, you have touched so many people with your CONSISTANT 30 days of blogs. You have been so inspiring to me, and I am in the middle of nowhere, so removed from your world, take comfort in knowing that you DO make a difference, and your consistency to blog for 30 days in a row brings a light to parts of the world you may not even know about! I for one, am so happy that you are a consistant blogger!
