    Hi Allison,

I was robbed … or … you were robbed! … Or maybe you lucked out. Here are fragments of the video I had filmed for your birthday, but the editor ran off with the footage and will only release little bits of it at a time if begged but not in a pushy way. Crawling over broken glass for him is made all the more difficult due to the use of plastic bottles these days … and crawling over plastic doesn’t have the effect he is looking for.

These videos were supposed to represent key birthdays in Clark’s life including his first (and last) birthday party, learning to fly, appearing on a game sow with his family, turning 21, meeting Batman, and turning 80 years old. The few I have are still very rough and not packaged the way I want them to be, but I am working hard tio find glass so I can get more of the videos before the A Capella Festival.

    Here they are:

    “The Birthday Wish”

[Hold your nose before watching the next two]

“The Day the Earth Stood Still”

    “The Shortest Day in History”

I’ll go looking for glass now.

    Heh this one is hilarious.

    on March 5, 2008 at 10:19 am

PS. [By the way, I don’t see the links for Tabby’s and Marianne’s posts]

Forgot to mention the topics of a couple other of the skits:

Clark reveals his secret to Lana and she thinks it’s cool, but soon a new problem develops that threatens to keep them apart forever.

Chloe uses her computer skills to help Clark get where he needs to be.

Anyone out there that wants to film these low tech skits so they can be posted, let me know and I can send you a script. Contact information is on my site which can be accessed by clicking on my name above this message.

Here’s a script for a video if someone wants to film it …

    “Phantom’s Audition”

[Allson Mack enters Al Gough’s office accompanied by Phantom]

Al: Hi Allison, how can I help you?

Allison: I understand that you are auditioning dogs to play the part of Krypto slash Shelby for an upcoming episode.

Al: That’s correct. Is this your dog?

    Allison: Yes, this is Phantom.

Al: I don’t want any hurt feelings here, but he’s not really the type of breed we had in mind.

Allison: But he’s really VERY smart! He can do practically anything I ask him to do.

Al: Okay, show me how smart he is.

Allison: Okay! Phantom, what covers the outer surface of a tree trunk?

    Phantom: BARK!

Allison: Bark! That’s right! Good Boy. Now Phantom, how does sandpaper feel?

    Phantom: ROUGH!

Allison: That’s right! Sandpaper feels rough! Answer this one Phantom, what’s on top of a house?

    Phantom: ROOF!

Allison: Very good boy, a ROOF is on top of a house. Okay. Can you tell the name of the greatest baseball player of all time?

    Phantom: RUTH!

    Allison: That’s right! Babe Ruth!

Al: Ummm. I think I’ve seen enough. We’ll call you if we decide to use Phantom. I’ve got a meeting in a few. I’ll see you later.

Allison: Well, we certainly appreciate the time. Thanks so much.
[Allison and Phantom leave Al’s office. When the door is closed Allison sqats down next to Phantom and says …] Phantom, I’ve been through enough of these things to know … I’m sorry Boy, you didn’t get the part.

Phantom stares at her for a moment then says: Do you think that my last answer should have been DiMaggio?

That’s an old joke … but sometimes if they’re old enough, there’s a new audience for them.
