Let me not to the marriage of true minds

Admit impediments. Love is not love

Which alters when it alteration finds,

Or bends with the remover to remove:

O no! it is an ever-fixed mark

That looks on tempests and is never shaken;

It is the star to every wandering bark,

Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.

Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks

Within his bending sickle’s compass come:

Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,

But bears it out even to the edge of doom.

If this be error and upon me proved,

I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

William Shakespeare

And so the beauty of exploring love continues!

I hate to harp, but had to highlight this amazing Shakespeare quote. Funny thing, this was read at my parents wedding! Good taste Ornella.

    Hi Allison
Chloe and Clark are the perfect example of freindship love. This kind of love is sustainable
because the bases are deep and without any desires to change the other. The freindship is a long term thing build slowly without great passion.
I hope the producers will give a chance to Clark and Chloe to explore the romantic side of their fabulous freindship.

I watched Cross Wires’ live broadcast from Prague today.
You gave the show something refreshing. The way you move and you were dressed impressed me.
Have a good trip to come back home.

    Bye
    Claude.

“Alone in the Neon Jungle” was filmed here back in the day. The station where the establishing shots were made, is still here, though no longer the precinct’s head building today.

    RIP Suzanne Pleshette.

Shakespeare wrote art and love. I hope his works will last to the end of time. Well then, some none Shakespearean art by Nena:

You look at me and I go with you
    And it’s forever, this moment
The sun is shining and life is laughing
So my heart opens up and I want to give it to you
I want to carry you, I want to love you
    For love has remained
    Without asking, it’s simply there
Can’t escape, that’s obvious to me

    Good night, my beau
And I’d still like to thank you
What you did, what you said
It certainly wasn’t easy for you
You think of me in completely love
And what you see just goes on
You are brave, you are smart
And I’ll be always there for you
    That I know for sure

You and I, we are like children
Who love each other the way they are
Who don’t lie and don’t ask
When there’s nothing to ask for
We are two and we are as one
    And we see things clearly
And if one of us has to go
We are still there for good

    Love doesn’t want
    Love doesn’t fight
    Love doesn’t become
    Love is
    Love doesn’t seek
    Love doesn’t ask
    Love feels like you are

    Love isn’t to be
    Love doesn’t fight
    Love doesn’t become
    Love is
    Love doesn’t seek
    Love doesn’t ask
    Love is like you are

Love is like you are, like you are.

I have a doubt: what is the exact meaning of “harp” in this context?

Allison said: I hate to harp. This is what I do not understand!

Quote: “I have a doubt: what is the exact meaning of “harp” in this context? Allison said: I hate to harp. This is what I do not understand! ”

    – I could explain it, but since English is obviously a foreign language for you, I’m not sure whether you’d understand it. Ornella Santilli sounds Italian to me. So this is the Italian translation:

“I hate to harp” means “(io) odio battere su qualcosa / un tema”.

    Silvia:
I’m Argentinian and I’m an English teacher. I know what is the meaning of “Harp” but I do not know what Allison meant!!! Probably she used it as a slang.

Could you explain me in English, please?

Thanks fortranslating it to Italian but I do not speak it! I speak English and Spanish!! Ha,ha!!!

    Thank you, Silvia.

I am not sure but it means “to repeat something”?

  • Silvia

    on June 1, 2009 at 12:44 pm

Well, I think Allison doesn’t like to pick things up and talk about them over and over again. So I understood it as “to keep going on about something” resp. “to dwell upon a subject”. In Spanish it means “(yo) odio a insistir en ello.”

I hope you understand Allison’s sentence now.
