These images are haunting. It makes me think about the choices I would make if I were in a situation like that. I believe I am humanitarian, and that I have strong character and convictions, but when if comes down to it I really don’t know.

I live in such a bubble of comfort and convenience, to challenge this would be a new and unfamiliar endeavor. I love how this photo series shows that we are not much further along than we were. Just brighter colors and a seemingly clearer vision.

But are we really?

You only really know who you are in how you react to pressure… People have
these high ideas of who they are but, that’s not who they truly are, only who
they wish they could be …

The best way to truly know yourself and it’s a question you ask constantly
in your writing is to put yourself in circumstances, where your challenge

I am not saying go out and do something dangerous but I promise you that
there are young women, lost in the world that could use some of your kindness …
try to figure out where you can be useful in your community and just pick a
population that your interested in and reach out to organizations that work
    with that population.

Sometimes you interact with people and they are damaged beyond repair and
they lash out at those trying to help them and if you work in social service,
which I do to an extent. You ask yourself sometimes after a bad day is this who
I want to try and help. And it’s a dilemma face by counselors, teachers, and
social workers, etcs all the time.

I say this without knowing the true you; just being a fan of your work on Smallville
and a fan of how your write .(Really think about writing a novel or a series of
    essays you’re an excellent writer)

If you played in a film about the Nazi occupation, you could feel certain emotions and help prevent it from happening again. It is important that those who do not know learn from the mistakes of others. Use their talents to improve the world is truly humanitarian.
