About Allison

Allison Mack began her career at age 4 when her mother made an executive decision that she had the personality to be on TV.

Little did her mom know that she was introducing Allison into what would soon be her greatest passion in life. What ensued after this introduction has been 23 years of imagination, creativity, introspection and evolution. Allison has filled her life with characters of all shapes and sizes. From her stage performances in shows such as “Chicago”, “Rent”, and “Hair” to films with actors such as Sissy Spacek, Estelle Parsons, Christopher Lloyd and Aiden Quinn along with the role she is most well known for (Chloe Sulliven on the CW’s “Smallville”). Allison’s love for what she does grows exponentially over time. In the fall of 2008 she was given the great honor of directing episode 13 of Smallville’s season 8 (“Power”). This propelled her into a whole new arena of appreciation for the art of film making and was a great impetus for her decision to open a production company, Parvati Creative Inc., alongside two women she admires greatly, Kristin Kreuk and Rose Bhura. Together, the team is focused on making “human-centric films as seen through a female lens”.

Allison recognizes the great responsibility in being a public icon and has enormous respect and honor for the implications of such an honor. She seeks to utilize her craft as a vehicle for positive influence and change in the world. It is her intention to invoke and inspire dialogue and thought to encourage her audiences to have a deeper understanding of them selves and the world around them, and as an effect building a more compassionate and joyful world through the arts. Allison’s insatiable appetite for understanding human dynamics and behavior is an infinite source of insight and excitement. She will be eternally grateful to every person in the world for their individual contribution to this enigmatic and beautifully complex life, it is the fire she uses to propel herself forward with her trademark enthusiasm and fervor.

In any role you’ve played, nothing seems overdone ore covered in the glitzy makeup of forced appearance, you always end up being more you then the caracter, making the character more believable, and i just wanted to say thank you for sharing yourself with the world. p.s. only girl in acting that I’ve ever crushed on, kudos :)

    Just watched your old “Ask Allison Mack” videos. Just wanted to say I love how easy it is to tell that your passion for the business is genuine. It shows alot. So refreshing to see actors/actresses who arn’t in it just for a paycheck like ALOT of a-listers seem to be.     Caught off guard and was not expecting to make a comment. I never knew your history but you were always my favorite in the Smallville Show. I listened to you sing on u-tube and was impressed even more. You seem really sweet (as if you havn’t heard that before. I am impressed by what I read above as I never knew your background and passions. I am currently re-inventing my life after a five year illness. I have always been interested in acting and now film and entertainment. I have yet to clearly define that.     Hey Allison,
    I just want to thank you, so much. Ever since I first saw you on Smallville I have looked up to who you are not only as an actor but as a individual. My intuition about things/people has kept me grounded about me opinons for a long time that I have come to rely on it; but my point is that my heart tells me that you are an amazing woman and that you are made for the stage and screen. But, maybe more importantly you are made to tell a story to the world. One that envolves showing the world that you can be handed a lot in life and not become malicious and greedy with it.

    Something that I’ve always wanted you to know as well is that you and all the cast and crew of Smallville were my saving grace when I first started High School. My brother introduced me to the show and and I have to say that though it may seem a bit weird to anyone besides you reading this, the personalities and homelife of the Kent family and everything about the show made me feel safe. Like, there was something out there besides my pitiful life that I was currently. Maybe I would never marry a rich guy like Lex, but at least I knew that I would find my “superstud.” Even though I have for sure internally said, “I am the girl of your dreams, mascarading as your best friend”, I know that there will be the day that I can stand up to like and say that “like is so beautiful, so short.”
