About Allison

Allison Mack began her career at age 4 when her mother made an executive decision that she had the personality to be on TV.

Little did her mom know that she was introducing Allison into what would soon be her greatest passion in life. What ensued after this introduction has been 23 years of imagination, creativity, introspection and evolution. Allison has filled her life with characters of all shapes and sizes. From her stage performances in shows such as “Chicago”, “Rent”, and “Hair” to films with actors such as Sissy Spacek, Estelle Parsons, Christopher Lloyd and Aiden Quinn along with the role she is most well known for (Chloe Sulliven on the CW’s “Smallville”). Allison’s love for what she does grows exponentially over time. In the fall of 2008 she was given the great honor of directing episode 13 of Smallville’s season 8 (“Power”). This propelled her into a whole new arena of appreciation for the art of film making and was a great impetus for her decision to open a production company, Parvati Creative Inc., alongside two women she admires greatly, Kristin Kreuk and Rose Bhura. Together, the team is focused on making “human-centric films as seen through a female lens”.

Allison recognizes the great responsibility in being a public icon and has enormous respect and honor for the implications of such an honor. She seeks to utilize her craft as a vehicle for positive influence and change in the world. It is her intention to invoke and inspire dialogue and thought to encourage her audiences to have a deeper understanding of them selves and the world around them, and as an effect building a more compassionate and joyful world through the arts. Allison’s insatiable appetite for understanding human dynamics and behavior is an infinite source of insight and excitement. She will be eternally grateful to every person in the world for their individual contribution to this enigmatic and beautifully complex life, it is the fire she uses to propel herself forward with her trademark enthusiasm and fervor.

    Hello everyone I just wanted to say that when I was little I watched a program I’m abc known as 7th heaven, which had starred Allison Mack, but at that age I was little and don’t appreciate her character, then I remember watching smallville as a young boy in Spanish, at some point my parents obtained cable and one of my favorite programs was smallville, and the only reason I decided to actually try and learn English was to be able to watch smallville in English. I adored it, but most of all I adored Allison Mack he character was so quirky and engaging whenever I saw her on screen I paid much attention, and to be honest I was depressed whenever these were episodes where her prescience was lacking. Unbeknown to me I had developed a crush on her characted Chloe Sullivan, and as I grew up, I declared her to be my favorite actress, even now that smallville has ended, I feel as if her career has only just begun, to be honest I’m 18 now, and still have a major crush on her… wow I must sound like a loser, anyways I have come to appreciate her work an tell her what an inspiration she has been rin my life. I just want to say that I hope you keep inspiring people, I mean I just found out about this web page and am amazed by it

    well i am not sure if anyone reads thease, but if someone does and allison hears about it i just like to say that; allison you gave me the courage to start take my life off the streets and go back to school. Now im in the US NAVY and i dont regreat ever leaveing my old life behind. i tried to be a reporter like you where in smallville but i wasent good enuf at wrighting or reading to beable to do it. dont get me wrong i still want to be a reporter but i stil have a long way to go.

    Allison, I hope you’re still just as busy after “Smallville” went off the air. reflecting on the show, I think you had one of the most dificult action jobs on the show, since you had to take a new character to the Superman history and not only make her your own, but to make her a successfully integral part of the story threads but more importantly, get long-time Superman fans who usually feel most comfortable with the status quo, to accept her. I thought you did a great job on the show, and hope to see you in a lot more projects… hopefully they’ve considered some Smallville movies as other franchises have done….

    there are currently 666 comments. that was just the nudge i needed to spill to you how you’ve inspired me to do what i love. and to know there is someone out there who feels the same way i do is just invigorating. it’s so refreshing to know you go through questioning times like the rest of us do. i am a recent graduate of an art school with a degree in photography, and i’m struggling to find a job i’d love to do. i can very much compare it to your feelings after leaving Smallville. I have been in school my whole life. 24 years all i’ve known is school. preschool, elementary school, middle school, high school, art school. but now what? i’m done. i’m supposed to enter the real world? get a job? that’s one thing i was never taught. i was taught how to study. how to pass a test. how to take pictures. but job skills? people skills? resume skills? no one taught me that. i feel stuck. lost, if you will. but i sat down and read through all your blogs after coming across your account on twitter, and the “one year after smallville” really spoke to me. it’s nice to know i’m not alone. thank you, allison mack, for giving me a glimmer of hope.

    Don’t know if you actually read these, but I’m a huge Superman fan and when I first saw you playing Chloe Sullivan on Smallville, I loved the character. Throughout the entire Smallville run, you have shown incredible acting talent. I believe you could win an oscar if you really wanted to. :)

    I was overjoyed to see Chloe introduced into the regular Superman comics, but saddened when she was never made a recurring character.

My mom is a playwrite and has written 3 musicals one of which has been produced 3 times.     Holy crap Allison Mack you are my hero! I only know you from Smallville but that is my favorite show, probably of all time. My favorite episode is when you discovered Clarks secret, you know, when you saw him catch that car, that was probably the greatest moment in tv history for myself.
