Hey guys! I am gonna be hosting a wicked event this Saturday called the Crazy 8’s Festival. It’s this wacky cool indy film festival where the film makers have 800 bucks, 8 days, and 8 films! Those of you who are film makers know what a challenge that is and those of you who are not film makers, I will tell you THAT IS CHALLENGING! Anyway, Check out the site and see what I’m up to! Here is the link: http://www.crazy8s.cc/ Ciao Allison

We had a similar events at UCI each year but I could never assemble a big enough team to participate. Sounds cool! 🙂

That’s incredible and probably very stressful :-). I admire those film makers.
It seems to be a unique, fun and enriching event.

    Enjoy yourself.

    Hey Allison
Just wanted to say you did a Fabulous job hosting tonight. It was an awesome evening! And to add you are even more stunning in person.
I was going to ask you a question or take a picture with you seeing as you were standing right in front of me, but just too nervous and you seemed as you needed to be somewhere. Your boyfriend also looked very cute I liked the Converse like shoes he had on with the suit. In all the night was wonderful, you were an awesome host (Loved the way you mispronounced the guys name was it Jeffrey Hornung??) Thanks for a fun night!!

Oh and to ask the question…You wouldn’t be able to coerce the Smallville production or wardrobe people to have the Smallville costume sale this year would you?

I can’t even imagine doing that. I’m working on a short film right now, and we’re in our third weekend of principal photography. . . after 3 months of pre-production!

That sorta reminds me of the Insomnia Film Festival where students are given all of 24 hours to write, cast, shoot, edit, score, and upload a 3-minute short to the website designated by Apple.

Lol if u thought 8 days was challenging.. try THIS..
yur picked out in alphabetical order by your 1st name.. yur given a brief and a title, u have to set up yur crew of around 4 to five ppl and their roles… have NO money and YOU have to find the resources..you have just 48 Hrs to shoot something..and then it will be screened against a hundred other competitiors.. sound like fun? 😉
