    Dear Allison Mack,

I think it is essential when looking in detail at any creative peice in any medium be it music, paint, dance, text, verse, composition, speech, edit etc to ask Why?
Why has the writer chosen those precise words?
Why has the composer placed the notes and chords together?
Why has the director chosen that take or made such an edit?

In every case it requires the artist to look inside themselves to find that meaning and make those precise choices and committing to them.

The result hopefully strikes an emotional chord and connects with an audience bringing understanding to human nature in all it’s many guises.
I was lucky enough to get the chance to thank you in person today in Wales. Unfortunately upon meeting you I turned into an incoherent mess of nerves and was unable to string a sentence together!!
You bring such honesty, integrity and truth in each role I have been lucky enough to view and show such respect to all genres and various artistic mediums in showing human nature.
Furthermore you display such kindness, grace and professionalism in your interactions with us fans of your works.

Unlike so many areas in society, this website reflects yourself in having no regard for seeking celebrity worship, but instead makes it’s focus on new ideas, looking at events from other points of view, from different cultures, daring to ask questions of ourselves to seek inner truth.
I hope you are very proud of your works and wish you the best of luck in your future creative endeavours.

    Kind regards,

    Robin Young

    Dear Allison,

this website comes as such a surprise to me! It has enjoyably little in common with your average actor’s/actress’ site; no Prada, no ad-shooting “behind the scenes” — very refreshing.
Quite recently, I started watching the “Smallville” series (I know, I know, I am this kind of a “Spätzünder”) and I was captivated by the versatility of your performance. Now, seeing some of my favorite painters/paintings (Klimt, Schiele) right here on your site, an Anaïs Nin quote, some very inspiring and well-written blog posts, and finally Eckhart Tolle on top, I am really glad I found your site. I was touched by “Warrior Heart and Buddha Soul”, loved your “voracitensity”, couldn’t agree more to “I am a cornucopia of those I have been inspired by, an amalgamation of their expressions and mine” … I could go on like this for quite a while, I guess, but I won’t. I will just say thanks for sharing your ideas and insights. I will return for more reading, that’s for sure.
Since you left your birthplace (which, funny enough, has been my hometown throughout adolescence) very early, most likely you don’t read/understand German; if you do, you might like to take a look at my own blog
Take care and keep up being hungry,
