HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to 2008, a year of change, growth, inspiration and excitement! I am so jazzed about the prospects of this year that I could do a cartwheel! That, oddly enough, leads me to the next “MackEvent”! 🙂

Start the new year off right by doing a physical example of how you feel about the new year! In the Juicy Peach calendar I titled the event, “Do an acrobatic move in public.”
Really what this means to me is to film, photograph, draw, or use whatever medium you want to show yourself physically manifesting the way you feel about the new year!

I wanna see how you are feeling about the next 12 months ahead! Show me what you got!

MackEvent: Do an acrobatic move in public

Film, photograph, draw, or use whatever medium you want to show yourself physically manifesting the way you feel about the New Year!

Submit your photos and drawings to mackevents@allisonmack.com. Please use yousendit.com or an alternate filesharing site to submit videos. We will upload and host your videos for you! Please note that by submitting your projects, you will be giving permission for us to reuse them.

Quite a lot of people are not so thrilled about the new year here in Germany, but I think they worry too much and exactly because of that it is going to be bad, so I’m making it great by believing it’s going to be! ^^

I wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2008!

I can’t send in a picture but I can tell you that I feel great about 2008. I’ve kicked off the new year with a smile and a positive attitude. It will be a challenging year.

I’m happy to read that you’re so enthusiastic about your new projects. Chloe will always be my favorite but it’s great to see you do other things. You keep delighting me with your work.

An acrobatic move you say?? I can only imagine all the films you’ll receive with “acrobatic” moves… maybe a filter system could be put in place, ha. Seriously though, very cool idea. Make sure you put the highlights on a reel for me to view please and thank you! I hope you rock the new year like no other A-Mack!

How you come up with these crazy creative ideas, i will never know 😀
It does sound like fun though and instead of sitting on my butt for the rest of winter break I will do this little project.
Well, this project along with the school work that my teachers assigned.
    (procrastination… nasty habit).
    Happy new year!

Happy New Year from Austria to all of you!

I would really love to take part in one of the MackEvents, but I’m as creative as … err… as someone who isn’t creative at all.
Well maybe someday I have an enlightenment and find a way to participate:-)

    One Day

    This is your….”One Day”…….
This IS your…..”One day, I’ll do That” day
All those Dreams you ever dreamed
    All those scenes…..(you never screamed)
(You could not scream – it wasn’t Real
…how would YOU know just How to Feel…?)

You haven’t Lived like THIS before
    Taking all, and wanting MORE
    Throwing Caution to the wind,
    those Prison walls, now paper-thin
    Power…Spent…all in small change
    Now replenished,…Home…Again

This is your – “One Day”
This is the day that you have waited for..!!!
    This is the “Someday”
you lived a Thousand times, before
A thousand times, within your Mind
wrapped within the cloth of night
a million thoughts of every kind
just waiting till the dawn is bright

    this is the One Day
    ….the first of many….One Days
    ….this is that ONEday
…the LAST of all those Somedays

(Congrats Alison..on your ONE DAY 🙂

    Happy New Year Allison^^

This is my first comment in your blog that i found a few days ago when my favourite character on Smallville was Chloe , but now after the reading of a part of the stuff on your blog and the listening on youtube of your “Ask Allison” this thing changed … Now i think that my favourite character is Allison Mack and not Chloe anymore.
I just wanted to let u now this “thing” in my first comment even if i don’t know if it’s the right place to do it…

Happy New Year Again from Italy and I hope you’ll be given all that your career can give to you because step after step on this blog i’m gettin more and more sure that you deserve it.

p.s.: I’m sorry for my english that could be wrong in some passages of the comment.

p.p.s.:Is post scriptum allowed in a blog comment ?:E

I love your Mack Event idea’s,I don’t know where you come up with them. 🙂 Since there is a foot of snow outside and can’t do any kind of acrobatic move in public I decided to draw a picture of myself doing a cartwheel with some crayons I had laying around from when my little cousin visits. My artistic skills are pretty bad,but my 3 1/2 year old cousin loves my drawing.I hope It gives you a laugh. Take Care

By the way I was flipping through the channels Monday night and came across a show called Aliens in America and recognized a certin blond haired guy,I believe his name is Chad! 🙂

    Happy, Happy New Year!

As much as I love participating in your “Mack Events”, this time I must decline, seeing as how I have been dreading the new year for the past few months, and sadly, in addition, wasn’t even planning to be around for it.

But, no matter! As always, I still look forward to what you have in store for us, and what others are planning on submitting for their photos/drawings/films, etc.

    You two are absolutely wonderful.

    All my love,

I wasn’t planning on being here either, but I guess I’ll have to make new plans or wait to see what’s around the corner.

At least we have a new “Smallville” to look forward to at the end of the month … that gives me about 3 weeks to get a TV and cable. The new Batman and Iron Man movies might be good too.

    Take Care,

    on January 6, 2008 at 12:57 am

    Hi Allison.

    Happy New Years!
I love participating in your “Mack Events”
For my acrobatic move, I used some special effects.
I shrunk myself and I jumped.
If I am 4 times smaller, the pool is 4 times larger and I have 4 times more fun. In a few months these photographs remind us change our climate. Whether the year 2008 is full of beautiful changes.

    Have a good Weekend.

I’m thinking I will go with the Ultimate Arcade II design… I need to find someone to build the cabinet as I don’t do wood work & live in a small apartment & have no tools… I’m looking at family members at the moment, hopefully that will work, but we’ll see…
