I heard one that I absolutely love tonight.

My mother always told me the same thing, when I was struggling, and I’d go with the average excuse “Oh that’s as good as I can make it!”

    She always told me,

“Good, Better, Best. Never let it rest, until your good is better, and your better is best.”

Motivated me, to be better then what i thought my best could be.

We dont need taste the evil to see the good.

Yin and yang isn´t the evil X good. This is a wrong – ocidental-way to see yin and yiang.
My ex-tai chi chuan teacher said that Yin and yiang are two diferents things, but that complete each other.
He said: “Evil DONT complete the good. Both Dont are yin and yiang”. Evil and good avoid each other. Evil want erase every thing taht is good.

    DAy complete the night
Earth (ground) complete the sky (and we can see a beautfull horizon)
My left side complete my right side
My internal side complete my external side
Sun complete the moon (to us)
ONe person and other person complete a couple

    They are yin and yiang

I dont need taste the evil to see the good. To see the good i look my family, and friends, my girlfriend (meu amor), my parents.
We are stars-sand, we are energy togheter with the universe. And the our purporse is works that energy in harmony (its a budist way and a akido way too, but gor me could be a cristian, muslim, jedaism or human way).

    peace folks

Hi,I like the topic.Well I have one that I really really love.
“Music is the soundtrack of my life”
Have a beautiful Sunday,it’s sunny here in Peru right now,and it’s wonderful!

YES! Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Facotry is only my favorite movie of all time! And that quote is one of the best from the film! But the song ‘Pure Immagination’ is like the most amazing thing ever!

I also love that quote because of the hope it instills in young children. It shows that we are all apart of a much bigger thing than just our lives, and we have the ability to be anything we want. If we want to be the music makers we sure as hell can. And I honestly can’t say I have ever meet a person that says they don’t like music so we need those music makers. And you always have to have dreams, where is the fun in life if you don’t have something to dream about and strive to attain? The message is simple but so profound.

I am one of the music listeners. Alas, when I attempt to make music, I make only noise. I have no talent in that direction. Interest, but no talent.

There are a multitude of things in which I am interested, but have no aptitude. I wonder, when we find ourselves in this predicament, what is to be done?

Music is a gift that seems to give flight to the earth bound soul. It seems to meet us at times at our point of need and like Red Bull it gives us wings to fly above that which imprisoned us.
I love music and I love making it.
I can only hope that it inspires its hears to see beyond their present, dreaming, hoping and reaching for a new reality that is beyond to everyday hum drum of life.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about why I play music. Even instrumental music is basically a different form of communication but it’s more about energy and emotion. Which I guess sounds incredibly simple but it doesn’t feel like it is. When I’m actually practiced enough to fully engage an audience from first note to last and take them on the ride with me- it is absolutely the greatest feeling. I don’t know if that the best way to describe it. I’m not sure my command of english is stong enough to do so.

That being said, I sometimes get pretty pumped just practicing.

I hardly remember my dreams… Of course that’s a bit literal. But even my goals… I can barely remember them sometimes… I don’t really know why but my memory is that bad… And I’m only 20. Sometimes life seems like a dream. You try to get a hold of it, and it slips right through your fingers…. That’s my every waking moment… Imagine.
