Hello all!

I apologize for the brief hiatus, I hope you all can forgive me! I have been completely bogged down with learning the new skill of directing and I’m spending pretty much all my spare time watching movies for research and learning as much as I can about this amazing craft.

It is so cool because I’m seeing the process of directing from a whole new light and it is beautiful!

Here is one of the videos I am feeling most inspired by right now! Enjoy and I will check in with some questions and thoughts very soon!

It finally came to me the other day. I have a movie that someone will make someday (because the idea is so obvious that someone else will stumble on it or one of the people I’ve told about it will do something with it long after I’m gone) … and I always thought that there was no good role in it for Allison .. because the lead role needs to be a man for various reasons and there can’t really be a love interest. But there was one role I never really thought of for Allison that is probably the one with the most air time other than the lead — it is a demon that encourages the main character to keep up the ‘good’ work. She wants to do a darker role … and this is kind of interesting because it marries the ‘muse’ aspects of Allison with a darker purpose. Like the evil Jiminy Cricket we discussed in an earlier blog. Maybe just the thought of her in the story will get me in the frame of mind to write the treatment for the film. Who knows …?

It’s a few days until Halloween. What’s everyone dressing up as this year? I think I’m going to make a Taylor Nikole costume. I’d better go now and start practicing speed typing on a phone!

Hey Allison, I heard you were directing an episode of Smallville this season. Can’t wait for it to air. By the way, loving the direction your character is taking this season. Keep up the great work.
