This year, Kristin and I have decided to work together to develop a small grant foundation dedicated to the support of art projects all over the world! We decided to develop an online gallery/store filled with products we and our other artist friends create as a way to have the arts support the arts. This store is called Juicy Peach! Here is our mission statement:

Juicy Peach is a not-for-profit gallery and store born as a way to utilize art to support the creation of more art. We are dedicated to harnessing our success and abilities to create a community of support so our contemporaries will have the opportunity to do the same. Basically, we are selling stuff so other people can make and sell more stuff!

Now, some fun facts about this company!

  1. Our first product we are selling is this beautiful calendar we put together filled with pictures we took while traveling.

There are pics of us in Paris from when we were 21, shots Chad took in China, Mark took in Cuba and India, Kristin took everywhere, and I took somewhere. It also has little “Mack Events” on random days throughout the year, so if you are into doing this with me, you can have a jump on what events will be happening when and spend your year laughing at the goofiness of life and the things we create and enjoy! Each calendar is signed by Kristin and I, and you can buy them straight from until we get the Juicy Peach site up and running properly.

  2. The next fun fact is addressing the site’s name, Juicy Peach! Sounds dirty, no? We thought it was fabulous. The name started from a discussion that Kristin and I were having with a friend of ours. This friend was giving me a description of how she saw me living my life; she said it seems as though I look at life as a ripe juicy peach—I bite into everything and let the juice run down my hand. I loved this description of me so much so that I drew this:

So, when Kristin and I were coming up with the concept of an online store, she thought this was a great name for our company because it exemplifies the way we would ideally live life—fully and completely, biting in with no fear or suffering, and just enjoying every bite!

I find that the arts are such an amazing part of this way of living life. When I am creating, I feel as though I am making a tangible representation of what I am feeling and then expressing it in a way that is completely unique to me. Through the creation of all these things, I am exploring myself so much deeper thereby deepening my own experience of myself and ultimately my life. This is something I want to share and encourage many people to do and I hope this annual grant will do this.

  3. As we build and expand this site we will continue to cycle the money through. It will act as a total not-for-profit, with all of the monies earned through the sales going directly into the foundation.

If this is something that sounds interesting or you think is cool, jump on board! Grab a calendar to start off your year or indulge in the “Mack/Kreuk branding” and grab a personally-signed head shot! I will keep you updated on the growth and progress of this new experiment, and in the meantime, you can enjoy the process alongside us!

Thanks for all your support on our new and exciting adventures! Yay, 2008! New growth, new ideas, new inspiration!

Ciao for now!

    Hi Allison
Happy New Year and thank you for this amazing website.
Can’t wait for Smallville to continue and your films to be released!
    Continuous your exceptional work.
I hope that in 2008, you will have the chance to play in a big film and that your career is progressing rapidly. The cinema needs people like you. You convey the joy and beauty.
A few days ago I saw National Treasure 2. It would be wonderful to see you in the third film because Riley deserves to have a girlfriend to help the team to find other treasures.
I wish you a healthy year , success in your career and be happy.

Those are some cool images! I can’t believe how many awesome places you guys have been to! I’m 27 now and I’ve only traveled around the south-east portion of America. I’m from Pennsylvania, BTW!

I have a friend named Dori who looks a little like Kristen Kreuk and she’s in Thailand right now where she and a friend from there are working with a christian community. I’m really proud of her, though I miss her a lot! I sometimes wish I could go somewhere with her like London or Ireland, but for whatever reason she’d rather only hang out with me when she’s back home than take me on a trip with her. Oh well, I’m just happy to have a friend like that who I care so much for!

Anyway, good luck with Juicy Peach! I’ll be sure to buy something from you at some point.

Allison, I’m speechless. I’m a recent newbie to your site so I’m trying to take in everything that is on here as I get the time. I just stumbled upon Juicy Peach and I can’t describe the feeling of awesome I get from reading the thoughts and ideas you have for this organization. Keep up the fantastically wonderful and selfless work. You’re awesome (but you don’t need me to tell you that)!

    Hi Allison
I wanted to let you know that I have created a web site of your great uncle Dave Coleman’s artwork. He had a very interesting life as a jazz musician and artist and I’m recreating this artwork as canvas prints.

hey, just wanted to leave a little comment for kudos. I missed smallvile this week so went searching for it and found this place. The stuff your doin and your devotion and character are inspiring. Its really awesome to that not everyone on television is a loser. This juicy peach project is tight and your seemingly constant optimistic view is really motivating. So from a devout smallvile fan and lazy college student, kudos.

I hope yall do continue in this effort, even though I know it takes allot of time and energy. It was an inspiring idea for I’m sure many starving artist every where. I have passion in me to start a not-for-profit also, called “Beyond the Dream Center”. It’s for youth that are un able to go to college and study their field of creative art, whether it’s in media arts, drama, art, dance, singing, and such…I have tons of friends that have already expressed interest in volunteering themselves to teach for free, but I have no cash to get a building, even though I have a building in mind.

I’m just a “no body” with no influence, and no clue as to how, or what to do next.

I know I’m new to your project, but I hope you don’t give up on it. It may need to evolve to continue in this season, but I’m sure it will go forward. Don’t give up!
