Hey, all my fantastic friends!

I just wanted to give you all an update on Juicy Peach, the arts grant that Kristin and I are starting. So we discovered that getting all the legalities of starting an official not-for-profit are actually a bit labour intensive and take a bit of time to pass through… Who would have thought? 🙂

Given that Kristin is training to kick some serious Street Fighter butt in Thailand, we are moving forward with the company, but just a little more slowly than before.

I wanted to let you guys know that the calendars are still for sale, and we actually did a fantastic photo shoot with my beau, Chad, for personalized photos that are for sale to support Juicy Peach as well!

Check it out, guys, and we will keep you up-to-date with all the fun and crazy stuff we are working on to get this cool idea off the ground. Thanks again for all your support!

Allison, don’t get disheartened. Remember, everyone’s a critic … and I do mean EVERYONE!

“However, there has to be someone in the picture giving constructive criticism and flushing out the details. Shouldn’t she hear this from the fans who love her?”

I just think its a bit presumptuous of any of her “fans who love her” to think that there’s not someone already there giving them this type of feedback on this particular thing. I’m SURE they have a lawyer helping them, for instance, who will give them the bad news as it comes. I doubt that there’s anyone LESS qualified to give them constructive criticism.

And from what I’m reading of Hannah’s posts, they’re far from constructive. Hannah’s encouraging people not to participate. She’s basically one adjective away from calling Allison dumb. That’s destructive in any shape I can mold it.

    In response to Jessica,
Your consumers are exactly who you want to hear from as they are the ones buying your product. Why do you think so many companies hire researchers to do the very thing that is happening on this website–gather feedback. I hardly think it presumptious of anyone who is unhappy with a product to express their opinion, although I do agree it should be given with respect. I think the world of Allison (and I believe I said that in my email) however, no one is exempt from criticism. As for constructive criticism, that was meant as a general term. Not specifically directed at anyone.

Jessica, I respect your opinion and everyone else’s on this board. I was just trying to get the point across that we should all be able to express how we feel, even if it is a negative opinion. And you are certaintly right in that it should be communicated in a constructive and not destructive manner.

Amanda, thanks for your response! I agree with everything you just said, actually. I’m in no way trying to discourage anyone from speaking their opinions, but rather trying to point out the “tone” that its coming off as.

I love how you and Kristin have started this project and really gone all the way to see it through. I am not a very creative artist but totally will support in any way I can, and that was purchasing a personalized headshoot of you. I totally forgot to tell you who to sign it too though… hopefully my email went to the right place and that can get figured out. Either way I am just happy to support this project!

I can’t wait till Smallville is back and am very excited to see your directorial debut later on! Keep on keeping on with everything you do!
