I’m not a vegetarian but even I don’t eat veal as the use of restrictive crates/hutches (“factory farming”) seems to me to be a very cruel way to rear animals. But today I read that some veal is ‘free range’, so to speak.

I was looking at annie hall stuff on the internets the other day and i saw this awesome scene on this great site and I signed up to comment and everything but my post never came up. I might have done something wrong, I dont know. But this is really funny and it’s interesting to see someone try to do this scene. These guys or you guys or whoever have to be professional actors because it was so dead on but it still had a diy feel that made it funnier and more personal than the original scene, at least in my opinion. I think that you or they or whoever is doing this should redo the entire film and add an actual soundtrack because woody allen put NO music in the first one! Not that thats bad or anything but Why not? The worlds are all notes on a string and music makes everything betterer.

Ah, don’t mention it Aysha! I feel like I can’t wait to know what is going to happen next. I guess that is all for now! Hope everyone checks in next week our definitely favorite Allison! And ”good things come to an end”? Allie will have much continued success! Here a quote:

”When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.” Alexander Graham Bell

Very true, but the fear (I suppose) is that the door that Allison will go through next, post “Smallville”, might be one where we cannot follow so we will lose sight of her; becoming a stage actor, for example.

Exactly, but luckily for me I have a friend in New York who’s willing to go and see Ally’s shows and report back. 😀

Could you visit your friend and take in a show? There’s a small chance that my wife and I might fly out, from the UK, next month for a half-term (school) break in NYC to include Allison’s current off-Broadway play, “Apple Cove”.

Hi Allison, I hope you are well just thought i would let you know that I wish you well in whatever your doing at the moment. i haven’t been here in some time as far as I can remember the last post I commented was your 26th birthday I remember simply because I felt almost exactly the way you described in that post. Anyway I thought I would let you know that someone was thinking of you and wishing you well. Saw you on TV and remembered the site and thought I would say hi and felt somehow that it was appropriate that I wish you well in 2011.

    Have a great year.

Yeah, I fear the same, however, luckily we can at least get some info and updates through her blog, fansites, and interviews, so we won’t be completely shut out, right? I’m trying to focus on the positive 😀 lol

Aysha & Beth: May I commend you both for your optimism?

Sadly I tend to avoid interviews lest I run across any “Smallville” plot spoilers – we won’t see the start of Season 10 in the UK until “Glee” finishes in about fifteen weekly episodes time.

I’m way behind where you’re up to. The most recent episode I watched was Legion last weekend. I probably won’t get to watch season 9 for atleast another 6 months. And yet I still jump for joy over spoilers.

Hi Allison, I’ve followed your blog for a couple years, and although I’ve never posted a comment, I’ve always found it quite insightful and inspirational. I recently completed my first film and posted it on Youtube. The title is ‘The Gospel According To Marc’ and it’s in 3 parts. You may like it. Thxs, Marc.

    on February 10, 2011 at 4:55 pm

Oh boy, I forget that there is a season lag in the UK. I can understand the need for spoilers.

It’ll be worth catching up though. Especially with last week’s eppy, “Collateral.” Great way to re-introduce Chloe into the mix again.

Allie seems to be enjoying life and is dabbling into different things. I just read on allisonmackweb . com that she went to a celebrity bowling tournament and attended the premiere to her latest theatre project, “Apple Cove.” Very neat!

Hey! I love Chloe and Oliver and can’t wait to see what is coming up next for them on Smallville.
And I hope, that Allie’s feet aren’t filled with tiny cuts from the play in New York 🙂 .

    Have a great time!

  • Aysha

    on February 21, 2011 at 12:27 am

Yep, with ya there, Solti. I loved the Chlollie interaction in this past eppy. Very Mr./Mrs. Smith but unique to Chlollie.

    Oh? Tiny cuts?

I hope she doesn’t get them either, but pray tell why would she? I’m guessing because she’s barefoot in some scenes?
