This is a rainy morning. I feel somehow settled. I think I am like the new little plants in my garden. I take time to find my roots. I keep transplanting me from sunny spot to shady back to sunny spot and I never allow myself the minutes needed to dig in and ground myself. But with the rain, I am soaked. I can’t go outside and a transplant in this mushy, damp terrain would cause more tumult than it was worth. So I make some tea and I watch the rain. Feeling my stomach drop into my couch and letting my eyes drift over a good book. The calming effect is magical.

Ah, a good book, a nice cup of tea, (preferably chamomile) and a gentle rain fall. It sounds like an absolutely perfect day to me. Langston Hughes said, “Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby.” Beautiful:)

You sound so contented, and I am glad for you. As the artist and critic John Ruskin said: “Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind
braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad
weather, only different kinds of good weather”. But then, being British, perhaps he never experienced a hurricane?

Tea and books go so well with rain. I go with Russian Caravan or Green tea myself.
I sometimes imagine that light rains and fog are magically washing away the faults of the world
and when they stop I am in a fresh wonderful new world, fantasy or modern. I have always loved the
smell of the world after a rain. If I were a writer I would think my best writing times would be during
    Enjoy your soul washing.

I always found rain very relaxing even on summer nights I sometimes
play recordings of falling rain, add a hot cup of green tea and I can sit there

I also like the smell of first rain late in autumn when the
first drops of rain hit the ground after a long summer it’s the best rain smell
ever. It only happens once and then you
have to wait till next year but it’s so worth it.

Sometimes it’s great stay home on a rainy day with chicken soup watching the raindrops run down the window listening to the wind against the trees outside and just take time to think, ponder, imagine and dream.

I’ve seen in films set in New York, how heavy it is. It’s one of my dreams to some day leave Britain and visit New York and maybe experience the rain myself. The way you describe it is very graphic. I hope the book you chose was an excellent read.

In my city the rain is falling in the sky and i like to enjoy it to go to a open field and dance in rain but my mother do not allow that, So today when i returned to my college that time is rainy time, it not speed but it just slow and i enjoy it. I drove my bike slowly and enjoyed every bit of rain when it fell in my face and my entire body at that time i wish i stopped my bike and walked in road with naked feet. But i did not do that because we lived in a Gentle Society where we can not do in your wish, some times we sacrifice our like to show the people how we are Gentlemen. That’s all for tonight. Have a good day for u and Good Night for me. bye Allison…..

    Hi Allison
Take time to rest a day of rain is an opportunity
to think about what is important to us.

You spend lot of time move by plane by train
between the East coast and the west coast..

On the West Coast, you have your boyfriend, your
career, your family and your friends while in NY you have your community and

You have proven to all your incredible talent as an
actress at the level of charm, authenticity and facial expressions.

In life, what is important is to be with those that
you really love and who love us for who you really are, can make a change by
doing what it does best. Unfortunately, rare are the people who Excel in many

There are plenty of outstanding women around the
world who are little-known to the public.

To share their lives and their passion by
interpreting them on the screen would be a great contribution.

Your fans continue to follow you and have full of
hope to see you shine on different screens. In your interview for Wilfred to TV
Line you said that your ideal career would be a series of 13 episodes with time
    to theatre and movies.

the Huffington Post you said you wanted to quit your acting career to write. A
year ago, you followed refresher courses to become a better actress and you
seemed so love what you did.

Your fans are a little worried because you do not seem happy in this change

Listen to your heart, you are a wonderful actress who lives alone in New York away
    from her boyfriend.

Your life is more important than the community that is based on beliefs that will
change but took a part of your life.

Do you have art projects for the coming months that will allow your fan sites to
    stay alive?

I would like a sign because I want to keep the site open for the tenth year.
    Have a nice day.

    Hi Allison.
Some quotes about passion and chocolate in this rainy day.
Life without chocolate is only half a life
Those who lose themselves in passion lose less than those who lose their passion. Alexandre Jardin.
Of all the passion, the only one that seems respectable to me is the passion for food. Guy de Maupassant.
There is nothing in our intelligence that has not passed by the senses. Aristote.
Generosity is one of the most fundamental qualities of living together. Marc Levy
    Have a good weekend.

    Hi, Allison.
I am a fan of Brazil, please do not disappear. Whether you are on television or not, we love you very much.
I’m 33 years old, my birthday today … I have all the seasons of Smallville and tired of not thrill me with Chloe and Lana.
I really wanted to let go of this wonderful series, my husband is very jealous, but what amazes me is not the main story of Superman, but the stories that surround the plot. The relationship between the parents of Clark Kent, fidelity and perseverance of Chloe and Lana made ??me cry a lot in the first few seasons.
I hope one day will visit Brazil. Do not worry because people here are civilized and very receptive.

I have felt the rain on my skin many times but sometimes it
    gets beneath.

I got those permanent invisible water tattoos two times.

The first time I was about 16, the greyish sky sounded out
    of tune that day.

I had to borrow my grandpa’s bicycle to get home as fast as
I could. Grandpa biked to work until he was 90, but that is a sunny day’s

The first few drops sent a full-thrust message directly to
my legs. Then the sky unzipped.

I can walk you through if you have never been there. Your
first reaction would be; “O my hair” … you will give up the hair when your
    nipples get cold

rubbing against the wet shirt. At some point you will notice
the water pumping out of your shoes with every stride but still you have some
    faith that you

might save that possible little dry spot on your underwear. And
when that hope is gone, you experience the most liberating moment of your life,
    you slow down

even stop, with your face up and open arms and a big smile
    on your face.

My second deep moisturizing experience was a few years ago
camping up north. I walked to the lake after dawn. The steam fog over the lake,
the sound of a bird flying a hundred miles away was unreal.

I had only enjoyed floating in the amazingly warm water for
a few minutes when it started raining slowly. Just watched the rain drops
falling on my face and as I was looking up I think I said this loud; “So what?
    I am already in water!”

    Hi Allison
It is good that you take your time to think and dig in and ground yourself. You are in a good moment because you can change the course of your life to do whatever you want. But don’t sleep. Sometimes we find our roots when we starts a new way

      Aha :/

I chose a great time to get stranded on my way to my first vaca there…
      Touring California to kill time.
Having said that, my situation could be much much worse. Could have been stranded there without power…

      Hope ‘frankenstorm’ is over soon…

As many fans have stated already, it is great to see that you are taking time to smell the roses and re-evaluate your life’s path and where you want to go. I feel I am on a parallel journey with you because I too had to step back from my life-long passion. I had to do it in order to look after my health and revisit some hobbies I may have shoved under the rug in that pursuit.

Tea can be very calming and therapeutic and in the company of rain, it is even better! It’s amazing where you can find inspiration when you keep your senses open to it.

Hope you are doing well and we love hearing from you. Stay true to yourself as always 🙂

    dear allison

do you realize that you are loved & addored by so menny? you are truly blessed. & you may or may not know that from some one like you, some thing as small as “i believe in you” or “you matter to me” or “i think you can” can change there life & make them feel so mutch better about them selfs. i know this as a fact cause Derrick Canada of the Harlem Globetrotters said “i believe in you” to me 20 years ago and Virginia Hey who played Pa’u Zotoh Zhaan on farscape said “We love you here! and you are loved wherever I am. Big hugs xxxxxxx” and “Bless darling xxxxx” to me a stranger with extreamly low self esteem a couple days ago. they helped me 2 believe in me. you could help so menny people with as little as “hi” because in doing so you are telling the person that they are not worthless because you think enough of them to be worth acknowledgement.

    love from a big fan

    Hey Allison,
While reading this post all I could think of was getting out into the rain. I love rain. I love running in the rain. Spiritual. Lovely. I love that the rain make many people stay indoors giving me a chance to find some peace outside with the animals. I’m not sure if my dog loves the rain as much as I do, but she runs by my side with her rain jacket on.
