To be great, be whole: don't exaggerate
Or leave out any part of you.
Be complete in each thing. Put all you are
Into the least of your acts.
So too in each lake, with its lofty life,
          The whole moon shines.

What a beautiful sentiment…and a very lofty goal to have indeed! I think some people would appreciate me leaving SOME parts of me out! LOL

Quite nice one ๐Ÿ˜‰ ,, Be complete in each thing ” – I wish it could be possible hehe and for God’s sake ! Is that normal in U.S.A. and other countries that everyone lick everybody a** ? Guys you don’t need to do this here … It’s just enough when you say your mind and give some short words of support not like ,, OMG ALLISON THIS WAS FANTASTIC NOW I LIKE IT THANK”S FOR EVERYTHING I NEEDED IT NOW OMG OMG I’M SO EXSCITED …

P.S. sorry but I just can’t look at this kind of comments I don’t know why ๐Ÿ˜€ Just hate it when some1 do this specific a** licking ๐Ÿ˜€

I would like to say how elated I am to see that it is not only I who appreciates the master of highly wrought, metaphysical and neoclassical odes.

However, at this hour Iรขโ‚ฌโ„ขm not quite sure that I can manage it…..

So, instead I would like to say….

    Go Alphakitty!

Love the quote, but I also feel that each of us have certain mental, physical, emotional and spiritual resources. We can spend them all at once ad have our flame burn brightly … but often those that do burn out and are left to wonder how they once did what they did and relive past glories. Some die never using anything close to their full potential and not knowing what they were truly capable of being. It’s a choice. I think a lot of it has to do with choosing the moment to go all out and when to step back and take a break. I hear that taking time to be unfocused helps a person refresh themselves and restore their faculties. I hear that taking a break from a strict diet helps you maintain the diet. I hear that a tree that can bend in a strong wind is less likely to be toppled by it. Be brilliant, but allow time to be a goof as well.

Wow! It’s funny because my friend Charlie just told me the same kind of thing, I’ve been feeling like I haven’t lived to my potential, and he kind of told me to go out there and do it! And so has this poem! Thanks Allison!

unfortunately i missed your response, kamil. i’m sure it was astounding in its infinite wisdom.

but i will say it felt nice to ” be whole…[and not] leave out any part of [me].” so i guess i AM learning to be myself unabashedly and completely.

    on July 21, 2008 at 12:24 pm

I’d like to say it wasn’t to you lol I just haven’t ever seen this whole number of words I wrote my first comment it was said in general so I still don’t get it why u wanted me to kiss you 4 letters ? I think it’s kind of nazi not respecting other’s mind so think about it and no offens ofc greets .

  • alphakitty

    on July 21, 2008 at 12:44 pm

i didn’t take it as just to me. i took it as a disrespectful comment to everyone on the board. which is why i felt the need to say something. i chose my words because you were accusing everyone else of a** licking. so it seemed fitting. IMO opposing views are welcome, but i didn’t appreciate your outright hostility.

in general i think people find this a place of positivity. i apologize to the board for bringing negativity to it. as such i will end my comments to you here. peace.

Allison, you are truly amazing… I dont know if you will ever even read this, but i dont know of any actor or actress that cares so much about everyday people. You are always helping people out and trying to make the world a better place. Even your blogs and posts are proof of that. Me and my little sister, Lily, went to the Superman Festival. We got there extra early, just so we could get Allison Mack’s auto graph and get a chance to speak to someone who was a real hero, on and off the set of Smallville. While we may not have been able to get your autograph, my sister raised her hand and got to ask you a question; “What is your favorite band?”
    That was really enough.

You are such an inspirational person, and really a role model to everyone.
    Don’t ever change.

    Dear Allison,
I can hardly believe that I am personally getting to say something to you… well, at least personally writing something to you. Six months ago, for my 17th birthday, someone bought me season one of Smallville. And since then, we have ordered all the way up to season 6! We don’t have cable, so I watch a little of the more current seasons on youtube when I get the chance (as long as I don’t tell the rest of my family what happens). Long story short, your character is my favorite. All of my geeky-fanness put aside, thank you for putting up this quote. It really speaks to where I am in my life right now. You have encouraged me, not just because of this quote, but because of all of the wonderful things that you do in the world. You invest in people and make them feel like they have something to offer by just being themselves. Thank you for being so inspiring!

Hey great poem! It truly brings out the best in people. I believe everyone should put in their full capacity to being themselves and expressing it into a wonderful; and cheerful way. I love uncovering the true meaning of words! Thanks for that Allison!

P.S. I was watching sesaon 3 of Smallville episode truth and I listened to the commentary of it! You put so much enthusiasm in what you do! I truly admire that! You make me want to pursue acting to a whole other level! Bye!

    Hi again Allison,
There is something I would like to ask every body.
    I don’t think they would respond to me but if you find it appropriate or interesting may be you can ask your fans, and here it is;
How do you define success in your life.

  • David Hayes

    on July 21, 2008 at 8:58 pm

    Riddle me this:

What happens when a Kamel and a Kitty live too fully in the moment?

    Answer: Moderation.

Moderation in all things and all things in moderation. A good counterpoint to living fully in the moment!

Hi AllMack! Well I hope that you’re not thinking that I’m kissin ….. as that woman or man said. I only write because I feel very well. So I’m not going to stop writing beautiful things to you. Just I said before I’m proud of you. Have a nice day. Adios. Perdona mi Ingles. jejeje.

  • Kamil Karaszewski

    on July 22, 2008 at 1:10 am

I agree with you that people find this place of positivity but guess I still can’t get something … Is every people mind ( negative in this situation ) means that you disrespect others ? I guess not . This would have not sense then . Also it depends of force of this negativity . I guess mine did not cross the line so I told my mind and kept respect to others ( minds ) . I just criticized the way many of them do this . I really think it’s not normal to use so many ( positive and full of ,,love”) words to express anything .

Anyway it’s my mind and as I said I respect others lol but just don’t like the way they write it . Yes and I have problem with that ๐Ÿ˜€

To sum up I think it’s worth to keep write your minds and make convos with others even if it’s lil bit negative becouse you always learn something and it gives you some basics to thing about many things .
It seems like we have different way of thinking hehe ๐Ÿ˜‰ I will not write I won’t ever again take some convos with you or others it’s pointless and I won’t write peace cos it actually is on .

If Allison took it negative as alphakitty then sorry but that’s the way I’m thinking ๐Ÿ˜‰

Life is like a meandering river. We don’t know where it starts or where it ends. Flowing with water through, and through. Sometimes on our journey we might enter into whirlpools, and contemplate our existance. Other times we just flow. Never knowing what is around the next corner?
Author is me. I just thought it up a couple of minutes ago.

I am deep by nature, and shallow by appearance.

Here is another one i just thought up:)

The ground was cold, and flat. The sky was darkening. The incoming storm had my soul screeming out for safety!!!
